Who is the father of my unborn child?
Im trying to figure out when I conceived and who the father may be. My LMP was Sept 30-Oct 3. I slept with man A Oct. 5 and then slept with man B Oct.10 then slept with man A again Oct. 17,18,19. Went to the obgyn and was told that I was due 7/7/13 based on my last period. Then my doctor changed my due date to 7/12/13 based on my ultrasound. Any feed back would be great Thx!

It's too close to tell. You'll have to wait until after the baby is born and have a DNA test done.

There is no way to tell at all. At best it is give or take one week, often even two. Conception dates are merely estimates. You will have to wait till child is born and have a DNA test done

It is certainly possible, but finding a reputable center seems to be difficult.

Also let me mention that this process is extremely expensive and is not covered by insurance.

To add, I'm not sure if they will do this for paternity testing alone. This is more for genetic screening that is not invasive as is the amniocentesis.

Thank you for the advice! I did find a web site that will do it: www.DDC.com. And it will cost $1750.00 to have it done. I have been honest with both parties about my situation. Man B is willing to pay for this procedure. But I don't know if I should do it and how accurate these test is?

The test appears to be accurate enough. However, what if "Man B" is determined NOT to be the father. I can guarantee he will want his money back. Can you afford that?

It's much less expensive to wait until the child is born.

As I said, it appears to be reliable from my research, but are you in a position to pay Man B back if it turns out he is not the father?

I've took it into consideration because it could put an ease to all of this to know what's going. I honestly think man B wants to be the father that's why his offering. But I don't want to do that if the out comes isn't his. I would like to do a 4D ultrasound to look at the babies features. Would that help in anyway? Man A and man B have opposite features.

The 4-D ultrasound is also extremely expensive and not covered by insurance. No, it will not help in any way whatsoever.

I understand Man B may want to be the father, but he will want his 2 grand back if found not to be.

Wait until the child is born to have the test done for less than, or around, $200.

Again, I repeat, the 4-D ultrasound will not NOTHING in determining paternity no matter how different the features are.

Are you in a position to pay back the 2 grand if Man B is found not to be the father?

Why can't you wait until the baby is born and save everyone about $1,500?

Please keep me posted. But remember, taking the money for this test might just come back to bite you in the a$$.

If you can't afford it yourself, I wouldn't do it.
