Hi! I have been in a drug and alcohol program now for the past 3 months and been clean and sober the whole time. The class I am in now (step down system) has had 2 tests come back positive for alcohol without consumption. The first quite could have been incidentally ingested however after A LOT of research I have made a point to eliminate all types of house hold products containing alcohol. The last test, which was taken 3/14 & received finally last night 3/25, had an EtG level of 1140 with cutoff 100 and ets at 27 with a cutoff of 25. ON MY LIFE I am sober and now facing jail time and potential in patient hospitalization when I've had ALL drug tests from 2 separate programs test clean this whole time until now for some reason. The only explanation I can have is that my stage 2 cervical cancer (which incidentally was the exact time my test results begam to go awry) could somehow have produced a yeast infection that fermented itself over the 11 day span my screen was being tested. Someone please help me! I'm finally clean and sober and about to pay for a crime I have NOT committed.
