My mom has a peg tube for compression only.
My mom has this peg for compression only. She is constantly pressing on her stomach to make stuff come out of the tube. She says the doctor told her to do it. I say she's definitely doing it too much. I read all the information on the peg and how you should check the length and am wondering if her constantly pressing on her stomach is good for her and could it make the peg dislodge? When I say constantly, I do mean constantly.

No, she should not be doing this. The peg tube has to be flushed out with water occasionally by a medical professional.
