    How much time can you get frm escaping frm a ga prison I have heard 8 years mandotory which is added onto your exsisting sentence

    Hello s:

    I don't believe there IS a mandatory sentence for escape. For example, a guy doing a 2 year stint at a prison farm, ISN'T going to get 8 more years for WALKING away.

    Unless things changed, there is no min but 8 years would be very low, The last one I was personally aware of got 15 years added.
