    Why would you be throwing up blood.
    My room mate is 68 yrs old and sitting watching TV and begin to cough. Then he started up blood.

    Hope you got him to the hospital by now.

    While we cannot diagnose via the Internet, I will tell you there are some serious problems that can cause this. He needs medical attention at once.
