    PCOS & Cyst
Hello, I am 25 years old and have suffered from little cyst for about 7 years. My periods have never been regular and I just found out about a month ago that I have pcos, I have been on fertility medicine for about 3 years now and it doesn't seem to be helping.. My husband and myself want a child but feel it is to straining. My husband is also a diabetic and I'm worried that is playing a big role in not conceiving also. For the past about 6 month I have been in so much pain when I get my period that the pain is not only in my stomach and vagina that it goes into my back and my hips, and legs. I was considering having a historectame (don't know how to spell it), but I want to have a child. Any advice would be helpful and appreciated. Thank you.

I am a person who will flat out say that any drug that isn't vital to your health is a drug to think twice about taking. There is no such thing as a risk-free drug.
Before you have a hysterectomy, I would stop taking the fertility drugs. Tell your doctor and keep track of your pain and other symptoms for a few months.
Your main concern I would think would be treating the PCOS without regard to getting pregnant for a while, and one standard treatment is using birth control pills or straight progesterone. You might experience less pain.
Millions of women deal with menstrual pain with warm baths, heating pads, pelvic tilt exercise, good diet with enough fiber that you move your bowels every day, and staying well hydrated. Take Tylenol and maybe alternate sometimes with ibuprofin (that's what I do for all my different aches and pains - Tylenol works faster for me, but ibuprofin lasts longer).
PCOS often goes with obesity, so address that too if needed.
If you can afford to have your husband's sperm tested, do so.
