I move in on Oct 16th with my boyfriend and my daughter. We left are residence of 11years in a different city. Not knowing anyone I was alone all the time unless my daughter was home. During this time the tenant above are involved in illegal activity and I repor ted it to officails and to landlord. The tenants are trafficking while they have two small children and I could smell the pot through out the house , they partied till early hours in the morning even on school nights. I never called landlord myself, I left that to my boyfriend. Upstairs tenants cause chaos between our family and I ended up leaving. When I left on dec.20th the upstairs chick yells out her window about my sexual actity and domestic violence how to get me help. I ask why now why didn't you call authorities? Her boyfriend yells "we dont call the cops" Several weeks later I moved back in. I was told the would be out in two weeks, didn't happen. The male tenant ask my boyfriend if I was here to stay? His reply was why is there a problem? She never did anything to you guys. The tenant s response was we don't like her presence. We then left came back all three of us and With a microphone and titled songs describing goodbye, everything I hate about you, etc. and over the mic asking me to leave ,we don't want you here.for hours. The next day she the female tenant shoved me in front of my daughter and I reported to the police. Things were quite till 4-5weeks later. They got an eviction notice for non payment that day they went and got aa protection order against me and my boyfriend. Making false aquiastions and she does have audio me calling them out in feb. after the hours of humilation calling them out in the street. They never responded ,but never recorded them menacing me. I've spoke to the two. Three times since oct.Now we are facing immediate eviction if the judge decides in her favor. I'm confident the truth will set us free of her dishonesty.What am I looking at ? Am I to confident? Should I retain an attorney

Since they have you on tape threatening them, and you have no proof, as evidence in court, of their drug use, I would be looking for new place to stay.

** and while you have a right, these were drug dealers as you called it, what do you think is going to happen when you keep reporting them.. Sorry but lucky it did not turn violent

Not if you don't have proof. Sounds like they were smart about collecting proof that helps them. Why would they record themselves, if it isn't in their interest?
While I sympathize with the problem of all night partying, your boyfriend was wrong when he said that you never did anything to them - you did! You called both the cops and the landlord.

What is this about 'immediate eviction?' I have never heard of that before, even when one tenant threatens another and gets a RO. What state is this (assuming US)?
