Pro Rata share of mortgage interest on form 1116 even if you don't itemize
I am filing form 1116 and previously I have always itemized deductions on schedule A. However, this year, our standard deduction is greater than the itemized one. So can I still deduct a pro rata share of mortgage interest on form 1116 or am I limited to just a pro rata share of the standard deduction?
