    Hello I'm 11 I haven't started having my period yet since yesterday I've been having really dark brown liquid dripping from my "area" what dies that mean

    I don't know about 'dripping from your area'; but this is probably a prelude to your menses. Please speak to your mom, or if you are not comfortable with that, speak to your school nurse.

    It's not abnormal for a child of 11 to not have started her period. Most girls start between the ages of 12-16.

    Having said that, the brown liquid could be a sign that you're starting, but it could also be an infection, or an injury. You really need to talk to your mom about this. She knows what it's all about, she was a young girl once too. It's a bit disturbing that you're online asking a group of strangers about this. Please, talk to your mom.
