    Eic review HELP
    I filed my taxes with hr block and when I went to pick them up they gave me a letter that eic portion was being withheld... I had mailed IRS copies of birth certificate, proof of residence from landlord, and grandson's teacher, copies of electric and water bill and other receipts... now they tell me they need more info.. what else do they want blood for dna.. I am ready to lose house because I am behind on rent, power getting cut off, and already lost car, does any one know how long it takes them to do review and what other info they can possible want
    HELP!! PLEASE

    Your only hope is tha Taxpayer Advocate, but I would not hold out much hope of getting the help you need, as the IRS with holding up EIC-related refunds due to rampant fraud.
