For the last 6 months my period has ben very irregular. I may not have one one month, the next month just spotting. This has been the pattern. Since the beginning of the year I have not really had one.. I have been spotting all of Jan. & Feb. but now that March is here I have been bleeding since the 2nd. It is a heavy flow with painful cramps... I just went to c my gynecologist at the end of Feb. She gave me a clean bill of health, but something is not rite & I really hurt. Maybe I should tell u that I'm 44 with no children, never been pregnant in my life. But this pain has got to go. I feel nausea, body hurts, head hurts. I feel extremely bad. And I'm on day 10. Please help me... I'm tired of feeling like this

Hi I'm 35 and was having similar problems. I would have a heavy period for 14-16 days a month and going through 2.5 boxes of super tampons a month. I finally going a doctor that wanted to burn the lining of my uterus out but after some tests and long talks the doc and I decided it would be best to have a partial hysterectomy. I would definitely get a second opinion. It's too important not to. Good luck.
