    Tax refund.
    Hi...
    I live in chile, and I went to New York this January, I bought a laptop and they charge me US$150 of taxes... as a non resident I heard there's a way to get the taxes back...
    How can I do it?

    I think there is a minimum claim you have to make and it may be higher than 150.00, contact your local us consulate but in general you have to have us customs stamp your receipt to confirm it is original, if you did not have them do this you may not be eligible.

    There IS a procedure for getting the sales taxes back, but I am not familiar with it.
