If the arrest has been purged, it will not show up on a background check. If you must look for it, go to the court that originally discharged the arrest. They would have a record unless for some reason, it was closed. If it were sealed, there will be two dispositions. One sealed stating basically nothing and the other stating the original charge and the courts disposition. How were you lucky enough to have a narcotics arrest dropped?
