    Armed robbery
    My son is in jail for armed robbery. He has no prior convictions. Does not even have a traffic ticket. He is 20 years old and was desperate for money because he has a son to raise. He got caught up with the wrong person and was talked into it. He is in the process of arraignment and this has been going on since October 2, 2013. The police have evidence from a video camera in the bank. But they have no gun. The discovery info was also tampered with. He is plea barganing for 4 years his PD is saying the DA wants 7 years. Question... What are his chances of doing 4 years in California?

    Hello r:

    Chances are better that he'll do 7. Although it's call a plea "bargain", there's not much bargaining... The DA puts out his number, and you take it or leave it. Your son will take it.
