    Fell... blacked eye lid
    I got dizzy after standing up too quickly and passed out, hitting my face on the doorway as I fell my eyelid is all bruised and there's a bump on it. Will it turn into black eye and if so how long does it usually take for black eye on your eyelid to appear?. and heal I am a 20 year old girl 127 pounds 5' 6" tall and healthy!

    A black eye IS a bruise, so if you have a bruise, that's all you are going to get.
    But a 20 year old shouldn't be dizzy from standing up quickly. So either you were dehydrated at the time, took something intoxicating, or not as healthy as you think.

    I am not a doctor, but putting an ice pack on it will help. It will probably stay black looking for a couple of weeks, and is a bad bruise. I do suggest going to a doctor to find out why you got dizzy. If you can't afford a doc, there might be a free clinic in your area.

For months now, maybe even close to a year (could be longer then that) my bottom eyelid swells up. I can feel it coming about and then BAM, my entire eyelid is huge. It gets red and big. Lasts for a few hours and then slowly goes back to normal. Anyone have any idea what this may be?
