    Hi,
Supply the brand and numbers from the engine and I can probably help. It has become very difficult to even find parts breakdowns recently. Four of my old sources have redone their systems last year and though I have little doubt that the info is still there, getting it is a different thing.
    Peace,

The engine is a Tecumseh HM100-159039C Snow King. This blower was a hand me down from my father and I'd say its probably 30 years old. The problem I have is I can get it started with the choke fully open but as soon as I try and close the choke it stalls out. What I'd like to do is just replace the carburetor. Any help/guidance would be appreciated.

    Hi,
Do not be surprised if it is pricey. The original part #632038 and the current #632242. Kits seem to be scarce since they were Czech(with the carbs) before they were discontinued. The link for a pdf parts breakdown is:
    http://www.outdoordistributors.com/p...PARTS-LIST.pdf
And I will see if it is small enough to attach.
    Peace,
    Clarke
    PS Yes it was!

    Hi,
A follow-up after seeing that a 632242 is $140. Also, there is part #632402 for less. I found:
    Jack's Small Engine - 632402 - $81.19
    M & D Mower - 632038 - $87.44
    Outdoor Distributors(where I found the breakdown) - 632402 - $79.33
    Pat's Small Engines - 632402 - $78.88
    OrderTree - 632402 - $93.88
If I had to guess, I would think that the OrderTree price is probably a very current one since it is the website of the largest outdoor power equipment distributor(Dixie Sales Co.) in the US. A search engine will probably give a toll-free number for any of them(I have them and others bookmarked to answer here.)
    Peace,
    Clarke
