    Over heating
    OK well I put on a head on my 99 buick century but now my car is trying to over heat again I have done a tune up changed the oil changed the thermostat rushed the rat.
    But now my oil smells like kerosine or gasoline but it stinks

    Did you have the head checked for cracks? Did you have it planned?

    You don't mention if the head was new or from a bone yard. If it was new, did you make sure there were no problems on the block? A minuscule crack is all it takes to cause your problem and before long blow the new head gasket.
