Water leaking into the drain in a jetted tub
I have a jetted garden tub. When filled enough to cover the chrome drain there is NO dripping sound. When we fill the tub to the area where the water is sucked out and pumped to the jets, there is a dripping sound. It sounds like the water is dripping into the drain, but is really annoying when trying to relax in the tub. Any suggestion of how to fix the drip? Thanks.

I installed a new PVC tub drain on a fiberglass tub because the old brass drain was leaking. The new drain is leaking on the bottom of the tub even with a new gasket. The new gasket seems pretty thin. Should I try doubling up on the gasket or adding silicon caulk - or any other ideas?
