    Fetal weight
Hi I'm in 33rd week of pregnancy and this is my first baby. In my last scan fetal weight is 2.8kg my gynae said its really big baby we will go for c-section. I'm much worried about that since I would like to go for vaginal delivery. May I know how much possibilities of vaginal delivery at this stage? What is the maximum fetal weight make normal delivery?

I've delivered babies that are 12 pounds vaginally (5.5 kg). Yours is only 6 pounds at the moment, but you have 7 more weeks to go, maximum.

There are other variables that play into whether you can delivery vaginally. Do you have any medical conditions? Do you have gestational diabetes. It may be that you have a small pelvic outlet that will not allow for a vaginal delivery.

All of these are questions that you should be asking your doctor since he/she knows your medical history better than we do.
