    Landlord renewing lease without husband
My landlord just sent me a renewal lease and did not have my husbands name on it. I am currently trying to file for a divorce so that's fine with me his name is not on it. The landlord knows I have been paying all the rent myself? Can my husband try to fight this?

He may be able to fight it. Tell us the state where the property is located and we can give you a better answer.

I don't see anything in Florida's laws that require the landlord to offer a lease renewal to a tenant. So it doesn't appear that your husband will be able to fight it. But if your husband does not want to move out your landlord will have to give him written notice and then go to court to have him evicted.
