Hi, I have been suffering since about 1/31/13 from what started as a cold with clear discharge, and then to green discharge and now green continues with coughing, when violent brings up a bit of blood from throat irritation. Also about the last 5 days eye infection of some kind with burring and blurred vision late in night and then discharge and crusting around eye lids in the morning. I've been using symptom suppressors, Advil Cold and Sinus, Zicam nasal decongestant, fluids, rest, etc. but now thinking I should take a course of Cipro which I am carrying. I am in Spain, live in San Diego, and was in India from 1/23 to 2/4, then a couple of days in London mainly spent sleeping. Don't like to take antibiotics but I can't seem to shake this, so ready to. Please advise.

From your description, I think you should start taking antibiotics, but may have gotten too far and the ones you have may not be strong enough. Please see a doctor where you are.

If you are a smoker, stop smoking.
