I bypassed my water softener and the water pressure in the entire house dropped. I though the opposite usually happens? Anyone have any ideas? Thank you!
My water softener loop has no water in it. Where is it connected for water?

The loop is in the garage and runs into the attic and is connected to a maze of lines. None of the have water. Where would it be connected to a main? Could there be a shut off valve? I live in Phoenix,Az.

When we bought our house, it came with a decommissioned water softener in the laundry room.
