Please help with this question regarding an EtG alcohol test
Dr. Bill... I have been battling an alcohol problem and up until February 3rd,
had successfully completed 3 years of a 4 year probation for DWI.
I messed up Super Bowl Sunday and drank and then failed a ETG urine test.

I preparation for the next test, I tried going cold turkey and found it too
difficult and even dangerous. I then decided to try gradual withdrawal by
reducing the amount of alcohol each day and simultaneously extending the number of hours between drinks. This was going very well until I was called in for a random test just a day or two prior to feeling that I could finally quit cold turkey.

On Monday afternoon, I drank 4 5-ounce glasses of table wine and, starting at 1 pm and stopping at 5 pm. I did not drink again for the next 21 hours. On Tuesday I then had another 4 glasses between 2 pm and 5 pm, stopped and ate a normal size bowl of spaghetti. I then had 2 more 5 ounce glasses of wine and
stopped at 10 pm. I had nothing at all to drink on Wednesday but coffee and water and while I drank more water than usual, it was not an inordinate amount.
I mainly drank the water every time I got an urge for a mixed drink.

I was called in for a random urinalysis at 6 pm on Thursday, 44 hours after I finished my last drink. I have since read a study done published in the Oxford
Journal that included as a subject a person who drank 4.8 drinks over a two hour period and passed an ETG 48 hours later. My experience appears to be similar.

What are my realistic chances of passing this test? I am a 5'6, 210 pound sedintary male.

    Thanks

I drink Non-Alcoholic Beer, but it still contains less than 0.5% alcohol per bottle. I usually have one or two every couple of days. Will this show up in the test? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
