Hi there,

I normally have a 28 day cycle, I came off the pill a year ago. All of a sudden my January period came last by 4 days, and now my feb one is 4 days late now and no signs of it coming, I have always had light periods, 2 days max and mainly brown blood, but very red blood to start, I probably change tampons 3 times a day for 2 days then that's it, over.

I had a d&c 5 years ago, I was awake whilst they did it, worse pain I have ever felt but looked like I recovered well and went straight on the pill, I had light periods whilst on the pill, and it took me a while to get into the normal 28 days once I came off, so I am totally confused to why they are now going past 30 days, I have read all about uterus scarring and I sound like I have systoms of this, very scared, can't sleep, my and my husband want to start trying but heard its not good idea if I have scarringf in the womb. I have cramps day before and day of period they are pretty bad but over after a day. I have a little bloating but I eat well, I'm 8.5 stone and 29. I am seeing my doctor on Monday but I can't sleep so any advice would be much appreciated.

Sorry I should have put, My jan cycle was 32 and now my feb is at 33 with no sign of period, thanks
