Sprain
Hi! I tripped and fell and caught myself with my thumb. There was a loud pop and it hurt real bad. Now it just aches. I broke out in red blotches when it first happened and now there gone. My mom wrapped it and now it just aches real bad. I can't put pressure on it or move it hardly. Did I sprain it?

If you can barely move it, then it may be broken. If that's the case you really should see a doctor. If it's broken and not looked at, it can heal incorrectly and you'll end up with even bigger problems down the road.
Of course it could also be a very bad sprain. That's the bad thing about the internet, we can't tell you what's going on. You'll need to have it xrayed, which we can't do online. So really, your only option is to see a doctor. Good luck. |
