Child support for stepfather
I am divorcing my wife of 4 years. She is Brazilian and has a daughter from her ex in Brazil. I brought my wife and he daughter to the US with a fiancé visa. She is waiting for her permanent green card. We were married in Idaho and now reside in Kentucky. Will there be any child support or spousal support issues?

You may have to pay spouse support, that will depend on both your income and other factors, She will have to ask for it in the divorce. It is doubtful that the court will order child support, unless you adopted the child.
She is of course entitled to division of property. So what is she asking for in the divorce ? |
