a.o. smith water tank model v60
I have an A.O. Smith water tank model v60. I am getting air in my water primarily on the second floor fixtures (air rises). My water tank still has a combination of air and water but should I suspect I have a leak in the bladder or is there something else to look for?
    Thanks.

MOre likely your pump is pumping air for some reason. Is the pump in the well or above ground?

The pump is submerged about 200 feet.

I don't know of any way air can get in your system other than by the pump. Could be a lowered water table that is allowing the pump to cavitate some and get some air mixed in with water.

A leak in the bladder will not do what you are describing.

Hopefully, someone else on this site will come up with a better solution. If the pump is the problem, then calling in a pro is your best solution.

One other thought. Do you have a filter that involves air injection on your system?

    Hello,
It turns out the check valve on the pump was leaking, other than that no other issues.
    Thanks for your help.
