    I found this post...
My Kenmore Elite clothes dryer was running and was heating but was taking 3 cycles or more to dry one load. It got progressively worse. I did some basic maintenance and it made a huge improvement.
(Unplug dryer, shut off gas valve on heater line if possible for added safety)
    1. Remove front bottom outer panel. (Insert screwdriver at top of the panel to push black metal tabs and top of panel swings down)
    2. Remove large black metal piece (2 screws) and thoroughly clean out all caked lint. This is where the air returns through the blower motor.
    3. Remove circular black metal 8"-10" ring (2 screws) to expose blower fan blades.
    4. Carefully inspect and clean all fan blades. Mine had 1" thick lint "cakes" packed between each blade.
    5. Re-assemble parts. Lubricate axles of the small rubber drum wheels while you've got it open, and voila, you're done. Hot and quiet.

After this my dryer has been working like a charm. Hopefully I'll avoid the electronics problem many have described. Keep in mind that electronics will often "burn out" from the added resistance created when other parts are not operating smoothly. Maintenance may be the key here. But these dryers have some major design flaws, no doubt.

Thx, Doug. That did not fix the 'no heat problem' but it told me how to remove the panel and get to functional parts. Mine was not quite a clogged as yours but it had about 1/2" of stuff that I cleaned out.
I think my problem is either the electric pilot or what I used to call the thermo coupler so now at least I can research the details.
    Thx again,Kenn
