Mark on Sat the Man that istalled the delta 1700 is going TO check it and I will mention your recommendation. The Delta 1700 when I opened, only have cold(not so cold) water even when it is on red mark! Then when I opend the think or flush the toilet it gets warm the water and as soon I close the think or toilet it returns to cold water but no so cold! He is coming this Sat. and tell him your strategy. If does not work, what delta can y buy or replacement part will be?? send help Alexis

Allow the plumber to make the adjustment to the cartridge and check for any other cross connection that may have happened while he was doing the work. It should be an easy fix and other repair parts shouldn't be necessary if you have a plumber coming out to check things, OK?

You were rigth, it was wrong assemble the cartridge, but even he corrected it, to get hot water I still flushing or opening the washbowl so I get warm water, in the handicap shower recently made on Saturday Feb.2 It looks to me a cross and is not going to be

Cement. After taken out the wall 48" long of the closet to make bigger th bathroom (handicap huspand) there were the plumbing(tubes) so they lower it and put cement to put the tiles?! So I have to flush toilets to get hot water in the house!! Any help? If!

The plumber should have resolved this for you! As you suspect, there is a cross connection somewhere and it should be pretty easily isolated...

Did you discuss this with the plumber after the repair or did he just disappear after the repair?
