    Craftsman riding mower safety switch bypass
    I have a chraftsman riding mower I am working on I every time I turn my blades on the engine goes dead I am thinking it is a safety switch issue where would it be located?

    Hi,
    It is most likely the seat switch. Mowers have what is called "operator pressence" as part of the terminology of the safety functions, and in this case meaning that the machine "knows" that the seat is occupied by an operator controlling it. Usually it is located in the underside of the seat.
