I never use to get callouses on the bottom of my feet but since I have gotten older (in my fifties) I get very hard callouses and my feet burn. I use a foot callous shaving device but the calluses come right back. Does anyone have any remedy of how to keep the calluses from returning so quickly and of not returning at all.

For starters, don't wear hard soled shoes. Soft rubber soles only, with a cushion insert.
No high heels.
What do you wear?
