Do I have rights to child I cared for
I have had an 8 month old infant since she was 2 days old. Her mother has been in prison and has now been released and wants to come get her. Do I have any rights.

Its not a good idea to piggyback your question on another thread. To avoid confusion your question has been moved to its own thread.

Who are you to the child? How and why was the child placed with you? Where are you located?

Without a court order giving you guardianship or custody of the child you probably have no rights to the child. But you really gave us insufficient info to answer.
