I've always being shy and tried to hide it. When I am at ease with somebody I talk freely unless the subject embarrasses me, but here are those moments very frequent where I cannot think properly of what to say, I am honestly almost stuttering, babbling, its like I am just saying stupid things. I was called stupid and dumb, somebody ask me once if I was retarded, and I am pretty smart. I will welcome any ideas.

Maybe you should try.. like thinking 5sec before talking maybe it could help you to see if what you are going to say is stupid or not... or if you do this already and it doesn't work try stopping it.. and maybe you will get things right... and about being shy.. I was like you before but then I started to switch places with the person that I'm talking to and I see if it would be something odd from me or normal... for example I imagine myself them and I ask myself as if someone is asking me the question and see if its normal... I know this is kind of tricky.. I hope you understood me and I hope I kind of helped :)
