    Laptop not working
Yesterday my computer screen went gray. I turned off the computer till today. This morning I turned the computer on and I saw the power light come on and the fan kicked in for 2 seconds and that was all that happened. I tried it again and the same thing happened. The screen stays black. I have tried it both with the battery in and out.
Is this the end of this computer or should I spend the money to have it looked at. I am really hoping that one of you has a simple solution.

Depending on how old the laptop is it may be worth it to have it looked at. Sometimes the ribbon cable that goes t the screen portion can break causing you not to have video. Have you tried to hook it to an external video display? Most laptps have at least one or more to choose from.
