    Can't get any straight answers
    My boyfriend has been In sutter co jail since dec.. he is on probation & so after his 10 day flAsh he could bail out... but on the 9 th day the feds put a hold on him... so now he can't bail intell itz lifted... my ? Is how lobg can they hold him with charges

    If he's been charged, then they can hold him for close to a year before they try him..

    Yes, my family member was held for about 18 months till they finally reached a plea deal before he appeared in court.

    His attorney can work for a speedy trial,

    If they have a probation hold on him, then he will be held till they have a probation hearing.
    If he is being held on federal charges for a new crime, they hold may stay in place till all of the state charges are taken care of.
