    Can landlord charge late fees for rent once fuel assistance voucher is received?
    My landlord has received, signed, and returned the voucher for fuel assistance (heat is included in my rent, therefore the payment is made out directly to my landlord). Because the actual check has not been received at this time she is threatening to continue to charge me late fees until it is received. Is this legal?

    How can heat be included in the rent yet you are charged late fees if fuel assistance is late?
