Is there a pci sata II Card?
I'm thinking of buying a bigger hard drive, Sata II 500 gb.
    However,
My motherboard has a serial sata 150 controller which is only up to 150 MB transfer speed.
I want to utilize the new sata II 3gb transfer speed of that new drive.
Is there a pci sata II card and where can I purchase one? Must be windows Vista compatible.
I'm not interested in doing raid at all... I'm just looking forward to buying 1 hard drive. 500 gbs should be plenty... for now.

    Found the answer.
Sata 1 has no real benefits over Sata 2... sata 2 is just just an interface specification.
"The sata 2 PCI card, if anything, will perform worse than the chipset's SATA-I ports - simply because the card is on the slow PCI bus while the chipset's own channels are on a much faster internal connection."
