    Irregular periods
Okay so I am 19 and I normally have regular periods, either early or on time. This month I was suppose to get it the 9th when I was 4 days late I took a home test and it was negative. When I was a week late I started to bleed light the second day it was heavy and now today it is gone. Why did it last 2 days only? Could I be pregnant. I been having some symptoms but I don't know. Could someone please help me and give me advice of if you think you know what's going on.

WEll, If you had sex, you could be pregnant. I suggest waiting another week or two, and taking a test again.

Also keep in mind, something that used to happen to me a lot as a young adult, was worrying myself into stopping or delaying my period. Worry, stress, and anxiety can do this.
So can Hot water. If you take a very hot bath, or get in a jacuzzi, that can delay your period.

Yeah I think it may be stress cause I been worrying about my son cause he's been having a lot of problems with his ear so I'm worried that he may need tubes so I just worry cause he would need to be put under and he only 15 months. So I think that's what's causing my period to be all messed up this month.

Just try to stay calm, (easier said than done I know) and just wait it out. Not even stress can delay it forever.

If you go another month without a period, and still have negative tests, its time to see your doctor.

Good luck with your son honey. I know its hard, but if he needs tubes (what kind of tubes?) then it's a GOOD thing for him.

I know I'm not trying to worry anymore. He goes Tues to see if he needs tubes or not. Tubes for in his ear
