    Can I do MRI scan instead of endoscopy/colonoscopy to confirm that I have IBS? Can MRI be useful to see inflammation in inner lining of intestines ?

    MRI will not work to indicate irritable bowel syndrome; it has to be a colonoscopy to detect it.
