    I bought a school bus and want to turn it into a r.v are there special rules an guidelines I need to follow so I can change the registration?

    Hello a:

    Change it to what? It's a BUS. When and if it's an RV, take it to the DMV and change it, IF necessary... But, I think it's ALWAYS going to be a school bus no matter what you do to it.

    If you paint a yellow bus purple, I imagine you could change the registration to indicate that the color is purple.

    It is and will always be a bus, that you are using for a RV.
