I'm 23, I have one love story that I think I can't forget for the rest of my life.

While I was 17 I have 1 boyfriend, he isn't the 1st one, but he's the 1st that I love, I care about.

We were in relationship for only 2years, then we broke up because some problem. Then we commit to be friends only.

Day by day I try to forget him, but the more I try, the more I miss him.

After that I just follow my heart, I try to catch him back for one year. But he act like he don't want me. I don't know why he did that to me. After 1 year, I feel tired then I just stop. I remind myself that one year is enough.

While I stop, he came back to catch me.
He try for 6 months, then I said its too late, and told him I have a new boy now.

I still keep contact with him as a friend, also keep contact with his mom.

After few months, I just broke up again.

Then I made a meeting with his mom, His mom told me how his son feel broken when he know you have new boy. My ex has new girlfriend.

3 weeks ago, I got an invitation to his wedding party.
I feel damn broken. I don't know why I'm still thinking of him. Its already 4years since we broke up.

I feel so regret why I didn't catch him back.

Now its really to late. He isn't single anymore.

And.. I don't know how do I survive without a chance to be with him.

I also have a boy now, but I know I can't love him as much as I love my ex.

What should I do?

What should you do? Go on with your life. I was divorced after a few years of marriage, then I remarried for many years. Each of each has loved someone in our lives that didn't work out. We have to adjust ourselves, try our best to forget, at least some of it, and move on. You will never forget him, he will always be part of your mind.
But, move on, and your love for him will not be as great in a couple of years. We have to live life as it comes to us, and don't keep trying to change the past... we can't. I hope everything works out well for you, and hope you have a great new year.

Learn from this. First you don't need to be in contact with someone you broke off a relationship with. It just adds to the pain and you can't move your life forward.

Be real with yourself. He has moved on and you need to as well. Others have gone through this and everyone survives it. It does hurt but fill your free time with activities and friends and eventually it will hurt less.
