    Pregnant or not.
I'm 19 was suppose to get my period the 9th took a home test 4 days late was negative. I am now 6 days late almost 7.and tonight I saw a little light pink blood when I wiped. What is it? Could it be my period coming or am I pregnant? My periods are always normal so this is unusual for me.

It's too early to test. It could be your period, and it might not be. If your period is 14 days late, then test using your first morning urine.

Thank you. Is 10 days too early? I was thinking about taking one sat morning.

There is absolutely no way to diagnose pregnancy online. At 4 days late it was too early to test. Wait until you're at least 2 weeks late before testing, and when you test make sure to use first morning urine.

The spotting could be a sign that your period is starting, or it could just be spotting, that can happen during pregnancy.

You'll have to wait and see.

Just want to add, if the test is negative at 2 weeks late, wait until your next period is due. If you miss it as well, test again, or get a blood test done.

False negatives are very common. Some women don't get a reliable result until well into their second trimester. Some women never get a reliable result from an at home pregnancy test.

14 is best. You can try at 10, but you may not get an accurate reading.

Thank you. Its weird it was just that one time I went to the bathroom I saw light pink blood. After that every time I went it wasn't there. I have been having some symptoms of being pregnant. Just not sure if I am or not. Cause my periods are always normal either early or on time.

The most important thing when you test again, is to use the first urine of the morning. That urine is more concentrated, therefore the hcg hormones will also be more concentrated.

Just remember, false negatives are very common, especially if you test too early, or test incorrectly.

    Good luck.

Yeah that's what I was going to do try it first thing sat morning. And if it's negative this time I'm going to go to the doc and see what's causing my period to be so late when it's normally regular. Thank you. My lower abdomen/stomach has been hurting on and off.

If you're pregnant your doctor likely won't get any more accurate results this early on, than you did. If this test is negative, it's best to wait and see what happens with your next period, and test again if you miss it, or see your doctor then.

Symptoms, like stomach pain, are not used to diagnose pregnancy. Only a urine test, blood test, or ultrasound in later pregnancy, can diagnose pregnancy.

Will do. But I have been having other symptoms like peeing more, more tired, constant headaches, lower back pain, wanting to eat more than normal and breaking out in the face. But guess all I can do is play the waiting game and find out if this test is positive or negative or if I get my period.

Again, pregnancy cannot be diagnosed by symptoms. The only way to diagnose pregnancy is with a urine test, a blood test, or an ultrasound in later pregnancy.

Every pregnancy symptom is a symptom of other things as well. You cannot go by symptoms when it comes to determining pregnancy.

    Do you understand?

    What's going on?
Okay so I am 19 and I normally have regular periods, either early or on time. This month I was suppose to get it the 9th when I was 4 days late I took a home test and it was negative. When I was a week late I started to bleed light the second day it was heavy and now today it is gone. Why did it last 2 days only? Could I be pregnant. I been having some symptoms but I don't know. Could someone please help me and give me advice of if you think you know what's going on.
