    Why is nothing happening?
Hay, I have been with my partner for over a year now and during that time I have been having unprotected sex for 9months, as I can't use a condom as it hurts and I am illergic to the pill. Nothing has happened.. which we are both really worried about if we can't have kids and scared to find out at the docs... can someone help give me a good reason why nothing is happening? Cheers

Scared to find out, sorry are you 14 ? You go to the doctor to find out if there is a issue and if there is, most may have a easy fix. Not doing anything is a sign of being immature, would you do the same thing with a baby, not take the baby to the doctor because you are scared something is wrong ? Makes me worry if you could take proper care of a baby.

Being mature means doing the right thing, making right choices.

And I would bet you have not talk to your doctor and got a proper ovulation planner, not those silly online tools that don't work, but one by tracking your temp, so that you plan sex on the proper days.

But it can take a healthy couple doing it properly a year or more

It could be because you aren't ovulating.

It could be because you aren't having sex during ovulation periods.

It could be that you have PCOS.

It could be that your husband has a low sperm count.

I've only listed a few of the possible causes. As you see, you will have to seek medical attention as we cannot diagnose over the internet. The list is really endless.

With that said, you have only been trying for approximately 9 months. It takes the average healthy couple a year or more of actively trying before conception happens. It's always best to make a pre-conception appointment with an OB/GYN to discuss your questions.
