    Carport wood spans.
    I want to build a carport to protect my cars from the wheather. What size post,beams, and joist would I need?the total dimensions are 24'x25'.

    Where do you live and do you know which building codes apply to you? Can you give us a rough drawing and show the type of roof line and if its attached to your home? What will the slope of the roof be?
