Please help my 15 year old sister wants to get back to her regular skintone color
I was recommended this regimen for her, on a helpful website, only to be used every other two days because, you shouldn't use a micro fiber cloth, etc every single day.:

    AM face/body
    Shower using micro fiber cloth
    Apply amlactin
Apply sunscreen (Neutrogena Clear Skin SPF 30)

    PM face/body
Apply kojie san soap to body/face by lathering soap in hands and rubbing all over body, save face for last let stay on body for 1-3 min then increase time depending on if irritaion or any redness occurs
    Shower using micro fiber cloth
Apply amlactin (again depending on level of tolerance)
Apply good moisturizer lotion (Shea Butter?)

    1. I heard the neutrogena sunscreen containted a bunch of bad chemicals inside of it, could you recommend a better sunscreen?

    2. is shea butter an okay moisturizer for her to mix the vitamin c with?

    3. reccomend/link me to a great safe vitamin c for her to use?

    4. for her private area I was recommended caspah, is that all she has to use for her private area?

    5. could this exfoliation regimen for 4-6 weeks lighten her up to her desired tone (4-5) shades? If not, and she ends up having to add a lightener, is carolight okay for her to use?

    6. when she adds the lightener, where does she add it in at the regimen/how does she do her routine now?

    7. on the 2 days she isn't using this regimen, what does she USE to protect her skin?

Nicole, I have a couple of questions that might help us give you better advice.

How did your sister 'lose' her 'natural' skin tone? The answers may be different depending on the current condition of her skin especially if she has been sick or her skin has been physically damaged.

Are your parents okay with her using anything to affect her skin tone?

o.o? She used to be lighter than what she is now, I guess she "lost" her natural skintone by staying out in the sun and not protecting her skin with sunscreen, etc.

Yes, our parents are okay with her using products to affect her skintone but, they'd like to stick to this one that we found, we just had questions about a few things, could you help answer?

I don't know anything about the products or procedures. About all I know is that she should be extremely careful with any product(s) she uses. I have read that many of them will make her skin very photosensitive and she could get very bad sunburns if she isn't careful.

Also, if her skin is getting darker all over her body, this may be a very natural change in her skin tone and not due to sun exposure.

Whether she chooses to attempt lightening or not, I hope she will love herself as she is instead of what others might think she should be. It's a hope I have for all young females.

Yes, skin lightening products are dangerous and most online ones are poor quality and not same strengh, most are even fakes.

That the most normal result is no result, but the other result is often skin color blotching or discoloration.
