The airconditioner runs and sometimes even for several days without any problems, but for some reason all of a sudden the blower will stop running and won't run even in the fan mode and makes a humming noise as if not getting the proper power, the motor also gets hot
I have a York airconditioner in my house. The blower will run and sometimes even for days without any problem, but all of a sudden the motor will stop running and the lines outside will freeze. What can be causing this problem?

Why won't my blower come on .My central air and heat unit will not blow out air.the compressor still comes on outside.There is cool air and moisture inside by the furnace and blower.I have changed the thermostat.It still won't blow.It is a Ruud.
Hi, My furnace fan blower won't come on when the a/c is on, the unit outside is working, then if I switch it to heat the fan blower works! Hope you can help me. I checked the fuses, also changed the filter. Thanks, Sandy
