    Plates and screws hurting
    I had surgery on my arm 6 months ago I have 2 plates and 6 screws and it is hurting a lot last couple of days and when I make a fist my knuckles get bursed should I see my dr or just wait until my appt next month.

    You could see your doctor but this is probably fairly normal. I have had hardware installed in me twice. One was a piece to hold my hip together and the other was pins and wire to hold my knee cap together. I can tell you from experience that this stuff hurts, and it continues to hurt while you have it. I had the wire removed from my knee about 7 months after the initial surgery and I can tell you that the pain is less, but it's still there.

    If you're lucky, you will get used to it. If you're really lucky, the hardware will be removed and the pain will go away eventually.
