My neighbor so stated they called dcfs on me for hoarding. Because they wanted me to cut my tree down he wanted to tear down my shed with his buddies. They came dcfs she was a women on foot no dcfs badge only a flyer I did not let her in.she walked off on foot out of my neighbor hood I got dressed and went to police station they told me never let anyone in your home without id. They said they had a rash of people acting like utilitie works and even gov. officials contact us if this happens.that week there was a notice in paper stating very same things.low and behod she came back like a swat team code inforcer and fire marshal.dcfs women did not have id again she went to a van on the road and retrieved id shoved it literally in my face 1/4 inch from face shoved her way into my home and said it would have never got this way if you let me in the 1st time.

Law suit for what ?

Doing her job,

I would assume she came with a warrant, or you would not have had to let her in then. So she had police with her ( it would not be a swat team) tell the police to go to hell unless they have a warrant and get off your property. Same with Code inspector.

But at this point, if you did not order them to leave and let them push past you, they were legally in your home. As long as there are no violations there should be no issues
