Hi I used to always have a 28 day regular cycle. In the last 4 months these have got longer and longer! I am now officially on cd34. This month and last month were long like this. 11 days ago I had an ultrasound showing a mature follicle which the dr said was ready to release an egg... The question I have is, this month I have been spotting since 4/5 days after my ultrasound, and this is slowly getting heavier. If I hadn't ovulated 11 days or less ago then why am I already bleeding? By reckoning going on the scan I shouldn't even start bleeding for another 3 days minimum! I am concerned now as last month I had the same spotting which lasted about 10 days before my period finally came, same as this time. I am passing clots and wondering whether this could be due to a very early miscarriage, anovulatory cycles, or progesterone deficiency or luteal phase defect... It will be impossible to tell as I have no idea anymore when Im ovulating! Ay ideas? I am seeing my dr next week but could do with some reassurance as I am bleeding at the moment. Thanks
