My sister 28 is more worried about partying and next one night stand than am5 and 7 year old nieces. She will ask us to watch the girls for two hours and show up three days later. She doesn't answer calls or call back she some times text back. She doesn't work my mom pays for food clothes all needs my sisters/ aunts of my nieces pick up and drop off at school. My mom is determioned my sister pay her $100 a month to live there since she sleeps all day partys all weekend. Disappears all weekend. Has also left in the middle of the night where my mom or my sisters have to miss work or school or be late. They just wake up to find her gone. The mother of my nieces knows they are safe and loved and provided for while she is gone. How ever since my mom put her foot down about the whopping $100 month. My sister is draging my nieces around partying with them around. And is now moving in with the guy of the month and his roommates into a two bedroom trailer that's 4 adults 2 little girls 2 bedrooms. My sister doesn't have a job. Neither does her boyfriend. She just says he can make money. No proof of drugs. We are thinking about calling the state but don't want them in foster care. We are very worried about their well being.

I would contact the local family services agency. Explain your concerns and tell them that you are willing to foster the children or even get custody.

Family Services agencies prefer to place children with family, so you stand a good chance of getting custody, if the mother is found to be unfit.
